Build your vCard QR code

1

Personal & Work Profile

Your name and job title

Full vCards make dense, hard-to-scan codes.

A static vCard QR code stores your contact details inside the pattern. vCards hold a lot of text, so the code gets dense and hard to scan on older phones or when printed small. If your details change, you also need a new code and a reprint. A dynamic QR code on QR Analytica stays light, lets you change the redirect URL anytime, and tracks scans.

Share your contact details in one scan

No misspelled emails, no typing. Clients scan once and your details land in their contacts.

Runs in your browser

Your name, email, and phone numbers are turned into a QR code inside your browser. Nothing is stored on our servers.

Live phone preview

See your card fill in as you type. Try different background themes and check how your details look on iPhone and Android layouts.

Sharp files for print

Export the QR code as an SVG, or as a high-resolution PNG or JPG. Use it on letterheads, business cards, merchandise, or email signatures.

How to Build Your Contact QR Code

Three steps from your details to a printable code.

1

Enter your details

Fill in your name, job title, phone numbers, email address, website, and social profile links.

2

Style Your QR Code

Pick colors, a dot style, and a theme for the phone preview.

3

Download & Distribute

Save the QR code as a high-resolution PNG or an SVG, and print it on your business cards.

Where to put it

Good places for a vCard QR code.

Business Cards

Put the QR code on the back of your business card so clients save your details without typing out long numbers.

Email Signatures

Add the QR code below your email signature so recipients can save your details to their phone.

Conference Badges

Print it on your event badge, or keep it on your lock screen to share in person at networking events.

Resumes & Portfolios

Add a contact QR code to your PDF resume header or printed portfolio so recruiters can save your details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about vCard and digital business cards.

Is my contact information secure on this site?

Yes. The vCard generator runs in your web browser. Your name, email, and phone numbers are never sent to our servers or saved in a remote database. Styling and encoding both happen on your device.

Do vCards work on both Apple iOS and Android?

Yes. The code follows the vCard 3.0 standard. iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and Android phones recognize it in the built-in camera app and offer to "Create New Contact".

Why is my vCard QR code so dense compared to a URL QR code?

A static QR code stores the raw text inside the grid itself. A URL QR code holds a short web address (around 25 characters). A vCard holds your full name, title, address, two phone numbers, email, and social profiles, often 300+ characters. More data means more dots, so the code gets denser.

What is a Dynamic QR Code and why should I upgrade?

A dynamic QR code stores a short redirect URL instead of your contact text. That gets you two things:

1. A lighter code: The pattern has fewer dots, so it scans quickly from more angles and distances and can be printed very small.
2. Editable: If your link changes, update it in the QR Analytica dashboard. You don't reprint your cards or make a new QR code.
