How the QRAnalytica app for Android handles your data. It adds app details to our main privacy policy, which also applies.
In short: the app collects only what it needs to run your QR codes and show your scan analytics. It has no ads, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data.
What the app collects
- Account details
- Your email address and name, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to show your account.
- What you create
- QR codes, short links, names, destination links, WhatsApp numbers and messages, colors, uploaded logos, restaurant tables and menu links. These are stored on our servers so they work when scanned and sync with the website.
- Your time zone
- Sent with requests so "today" and peak hours match your local time.
- Scan analytics
- When someone scans one of your codes we record the time, approximate city and country, device type and a daily-rotating hashed visitor token (never a raw IP address). This is shown only to you and your team.
What stays on your phone
- Sign-in session
- Kept in encrypted Android storage so you stay signed in.
- Offline cache
- Recent dashboard data and your codes list are saved in a local database so screens open instantly. Signing out deletes it.
- Home screen widgets
- Display-ready numbers (scan counts, code names) saved for the widgets. Signing out clears them.
- Camera
- The QR scanner reads codes on the device. Camera images are never uploaded or stored.
- Photos
- Only images you pick (a logo) are read. QR images you save go to your gallery; nothing else is accessed.
Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your QRAnalytica account at any time, whether you used the app or the website.
- Email nookesh@qranalytica.com from the address you sign in with.
- Use the subject "Delete my QRAnalytica account".
- We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account details, QR codes, short links, uploaded logos, restaurant tables and all scan analytics for your codes. Printed codes stop working once deleted.
What we may keep
Only records we are required to keep by law, such as billing records held by our payment provider.
To remove data only from your phone, sign out of the app or uninstall it.
