How to Use a Bulk QR Code Generator and Print Sticker Sheets That Line Up

Use a bulk QR code generator to make labels for inventory, packaging, or tables, then print them on sticker sheets without the grid drifting off the labels.

Retail inventory tags, product labels, cafe tables, event badges: plenty of businesses need tens, hundreds, or thousands of QR codes at once. Making them one by one is tedious, which is what a bulk qr code generator is for.

Generating the files is only half the job. Printing them onto adhesive sheets (like Avery sheets) so each code lands inside its label depends on a few print settings most people never touch.

This guide covers when to generate codes in bulk, how to prepare the list, and how to print sticker grids cleanly.

3 Common Uses for Bulk QR Generation

1. Restaurant & Hospitality Tables

Contact-free ordering and guest reviews need a unique URL for each table (Table 1, Table 2, and so on). Generating them as one batch saves hours of manual work.

2. Retail Inventory & Product Tags

Some warehouses now use QR codes in place of product barcodes. A sheet of unique label stickers lets your team scan and record stock levels with any standard tablet.

3. Direct Mail & Marketing Sticker Sheets

Print a unique code on each flyer or envelope. Because every piece points to its own URL, you can compare scan response rates across geographic mailing zones.

How to Format Your CSV File

Skip typing lists by hand. Prepare a spreadsheet in this format:

  • Column A (Target Data): The exact destination, such as a WhatsApp number, link, or product ID.
  • Column B (Label Name): A short label printed next to the code or used to name the output file (e.g., Desk-Row-10).
  • Format: Export the sheet as a standard Comma Separated Values (.csv) file. Don’t include a header row.

Printing Checklist for Sticker Grids

Most alignment problems come from the browser’s print scaling settings. Check these three things before you print on adhesive label sheets.

1. Set Margins to ‘None’

Sticker sheets such as Avery 5160 already have margins built into every edge. If your browser adds its default margins on top, the whole grid shifts down. Set Margins: None or Minimum in your print settings.

2. Disable Page Scaling

Set the print scale to exactly 100%. Don’t pick “Fit to Printable Area” or “Fit to Page”.

3. Print Background Graphics

Tick the Background graphics checkbox in the print dialog. Without it, your browser skips card backings, custom colors, and grid divider marks on the sticker paper.
